Tapestry Repair

Yesterday we shared a damaged hand chain stitched tapestry.  Above are pictures of the completed repair to the damaged tapestry's stitching.  The original piece was stitched using neutral tones and we used the closest yarns to the original we could source.  Notice how the hand stitching blends into the off white field  - our goal was to not draw attention to the area that was once damaged. --www.traditionalrugrepair.com
